Jayne Cuidon
Jayne (and her husband Scott) came to Iron City just before the Covid-19 shutdown at the recommendation of their son, Sam, who called ICC “the best church in town!” Raised in a pastor’s family in Virginia Beach, Jayne grew up loving the church. After serving as a missionary in Germany and Croatia for 27 years, Jayne moved to Alabama to take care of her mom.
Jayne graduated from Samford and got a master’s from University of Alabama before completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership. She’s written a book (a parenting book in Croatian), pioneered and directed a ministry to families, counseled missionaries and pastors at the Barnabas Zentrum, became a spiritual director, and raised six kids on the mission field.
She gets excited over books about spiritual formation, but what she really loves to do is talk about Jesus over a home-cooked meal. In quiet moments, you’ll find her on her front deck drinking iced tea and enjoying somebody…especially her grandkids! She can’t wait to meet you and hear your story and recommend one of her favorite books.
