2007 — The idea to plant a church in downtown Birmingham is first proposed

March 2013 — Jason Dees is hired by Valleydale Church

May 2014 — The first ICC college service is held

June 2014 — Kam Pugh is hired as ICC college pastor

September 7, 2014 — ICC is born and begins weekly services

April 2016 — Jason Cook leaves ICC and begins pastoring at Fellowship Memphis

April 2016 — Kam Pugh takes on leadership of ICC

August 2016 — Jason Dees leaves Valleydale for Atlanta

September 2016 — Valleydale Elders agree ICC should work toward autonomy

July 7, 2019 — ICC becomes an autonomous local church

August 29, 2021 — Isaac Adams is voted in as Lead Pastor of ICC

September 8, 2024 — ICC celebrates 10 year anniversary
