Luke 3:22-38 / Kam Pugh

Often unfortunately neglected or seen as irrelevant, the genealogy of Jesus in Luke’s gospel provides valuable context for Jesus’ identity. The names in this list were not only significant and known to the people of Luke’s day but hold weight in our study of Jesus as well. Jesus is the son of David; the son of Abraham; and most importantly, the last Adam.
