Temporarily jumping over the rest of Luke 1 and 2 to pick back up during Advent, we turn our attention to John the Baptist, an unlikely subject of religious text who prophesied about Jesus before He began His earthly ministry. Following John’s example, we should preach the good news of Jesus, not afraid to address the issues of the day and speak the hard truth.
